With the Marvellous Creations line expanded again, it further highlights the difficulty in defining exactly what this line of chocolate exactly represents. That said, they haven’t yet put out a bad product and this is no exception.
Sold in a 150g bag, these ball shaped chocolate candies immediately remind one of the Cadbury Mini Drops. Much like the Mini Drops, it’s easy to start snacking on the Jelly Zingers and be near the bottom of the bag before you realise. It may be a false expectation set by the similar packaging to the Mini Drops, but I’d expected this to have a hard, crispy texture. There is no basis for this expectation, considering the product is exactly as it looks on the front of the pack.
The Jelly Zingers are exactly as you’d expect, with multiple flavoured gelatin-based balls covered in chocolate. They’re not too dissimilar to the Menz Choccy Snakes, but ball-shaped.
These are a tasty treat I’ll return to often when after chocolate, but without a specific desire.
