Lindt’s “Hello My Name Is…” range continues to delight and disappoint. As with Lindt balls, these are so insubstantial that you want to just eat one after another. With just 39g of chocolate in a bar, it’s very easy to crave more. But, like a Lindt ball it doesn’t take long for the taste to get a little sickly.
With a Lindt ball one only usually has them on special occasions, but the Hello My Name Is chocolates are intended for regular consumption. With full health considerations taken, of course. Once the ‘special occasion’ intention has been stripped away, you’re left with a very light, very small chocolate experience that delivers just a brief chocolate sugar rush.
The Cookies & Cream blocks offer Lindt milk chocolate filled with a creamy filling scattered with chocolate-chip cookie pieces. If you’re just after a small hit of chocolate, one supposes this could fill the void. But most will be left wanting.
Despite my disappointment with the “Hello My Name Is…” range, I will undoubtedly be back for more.
